How to reach Milan and the International Exhibition Expo 2015.

By train:
It's easy to reach Milan and Expo 2015 from Marigold B&B Merate.
The railway station is about 1.5 km and can be reached by a 20 minutes' walk or in 5 minutes by car, easy parking near the station.
It's also possible to have a transfer from the B&B. From Cernusco Lombardone-Merate Station there are trains to Milan every 60 minutes and in 30 minutes they will take you to Milan Central Station or Milan Porta Garibaldi Station.
From here you can take the subway red line M1 that in 35 minutes will take you directly to Expo.

Monza, the city center and the Cathedral are easily reachable by train in about twenty minutes from the Cernusco Lombardone-Merate Station.
The line is always the Lecco-Milan paying attention to the race that stops in Monza.
You can get close to the center by car, where there are numerous paying car park.
Be sure to visit the Cathedral, the Iron Crown and the Chapel of Teodolinda known as "The Sistine Chapel" of Lombardy.
Shops, bars and restaurants allow you to live the entire historic center as a large square and offer the tourist services of all kinds.
The park, the just restored beautiful Villa Reale and the F1 racetrack can be reached from the center by bus or by car.

From the Marigold B&B you can reach in about twenty minutes, by train or by car, Lecco and its lake.
The city offers many possibilities for a pleasant stroll walking along the lake and visiting the places where Alessandro Manzoni set his famous historical novel "The Betrothed".
From the pier of the city regular ferries connect Lecco with Varenna, Bellagio, Cernobbio ... to spend pleasant days visiting the most beautiful villas with their parks, museums and ancient villages rich in history and enjoying tasting dishes made with local produce.
